The Meaning of Trump’s War with The Media

When history looks back on the Trump Presidency, I hope it will be through the eyes of a newly energized and strengthened America.  I want to live in a more grateful and enlightened nation.  A country who recognized that Donald Trump, and his plan to Make America Great Again, was the saving grace that lifted us out of the deeply imbedded corruption set into place by our adversaries within.

While other battles loom large on the horizon, from Afghanistan to North Korea, few things are more perilous to our freedom and our way of life than the attacks upon our culture and sovereignty that are being propagated by the American Media.

I believe that one of the most remarkable and likely to be the most notable accomplishments, to come out of Trump’s presidency, will be how he took on and handled our “war with the media”.

Keep in mind, that President Trump didn’t start this “war with the media.” Its roots go far back and explain to a great degree the fate of many right-of-center politicians.

By calling them out on their dishonesty and liberal bias, however, Trump is exposing the “Main Stream Media” like no one before.  The American citizenry can now see their subversion of the political process through “fake news” and slanted opinion journalism – too often only loosely based on the facts.

It was their pre-existing bias that sent them into an anti-Trump frenzy and into full attack mode, before Trump’s presidency even began in an attempt to discredit the new President.  They were hoping to strike first, so that Trump couldn’t strip them of their ability to maintain any sense of credibility – the credibility they need to fool the public.

Just who is this enemy that has embedded themselves into the very fabric of our society by commandeering our media outlets? And why does President Trump present such a huge threat to their agenda?

President Trump is a threat because he is the outsider who is not afraid to become engaged in a battle with the liberal elites – the elites who wish to transform America into a European social welfare state.  Trump believes we should stay a Nation of people who rule themselves under the Constitution.  A Nation where our rights are God-given. He does not want us to become a Population ruled by man – as the highest governing authority.

Trump, in trying to accomplish his goals, has joined and strengthened the voices in the news media who have been crying out to expose the fraud being perpetrated by the “MSM.”  He stands with the voices that have been sounding the clarion call to action against key foundational strategies designed to destroy America from within.

Believe it or not, those strategies were set into motion some 60 years ago. They were brought to light on January 10, 1963, when Albert S. Herlong Jr. of Florida read a list of 45 Communist goals into the Congressional record.

The list was taken from Cleon Skousen’s book, “The Naked Communist.” Here are the five (5) crucial goals regarding the media.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, and policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and motion pictures
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV. (Note: This is the Gramscian agenda of the “long march through the institutions” spelled out explicitly: gradual takeover of the “means of communication” and then using those vehicles to debauch the culture and weaken the will of the individual to resist.)

They understood that the media is a very powerful tool to reach the hearts and minds of the people. They also knew that in the right hands, it could be used to undermine even the most powerful of governments.

Our apathy and blind faith, and for others willfully ignorance, enabled the takeover of our once honored and respected media institutions. Where once they were entrusted by the American people to be the watch dogs of our values and the gate keepers of the information needed to make informed decisions and live our lives to the fullest as Americans, that is no longer true.

So, when President Trump called some in the press “very bad people,” he was not wrong. There are indeed some very bad people pulling the strings of the media. Believe it.

Much to the dismay of the political insiders, this newcomer to politics is wrecking their world with his messaging. Trump’s vision to MAGA resonates with the people who know America is in grave danger and as a political outsider, he is not going to be easily controlled.

He is the elite’s worst nightmare. The success of their well laid and extensive plans to remake America depend on this man’s failure as President.  To continue their reign – Trump must be continually demonized and discredited.

Trump however, not one to be intimidated, knows he can overcome the Media bias and negative press thrown at him on an hourly basis by speaking directly to the American people – leaving him free to call the MSM out on their left-wing agenda driven “fake news.”

While his tweeting and rallies are met with contempt, they connect him to the people in ways that other Presidents have failed.  It understandably draws the ire of the media, along with his political opponents, because of the threat he represents.  In response, they have stepped-up their game and have condemned him for it.

I attended the President’s rally in Phoenix, Arizona. The reality from where I stood, as well as thousands of others, was that his message was electrifying and served to unite not divide us.  The event went off as a huge success energizing his base, yet from what the media reported, we should all be embarrassed by a President who is obsessed over a petty grudge with the media. Well, I do believe that it’s the other way around – deflection is the name of the game for these guys.

As I witnessed here in Arizona, Americans are finally waking up and saying we have had enough of a corrupt media who pushes division, hate and contempt for all things American onto an unsuspecting public through lies and manipulation of half-truths.

It is our duty as Americans to become enlightened to the facts. Be selective on who and where we get our information from.  President Trump’s war with the media is a war he is fighting for the American people and we all need to be engaged for the win!
