Waiting on Tax Reform: Fewest Jobless Claims Since 1973 Show Firm U.S. Job Market
There is no question that there is an increased optimism in America today with respect to the economy. In my discussions with many business executives/leaders, it has become clear to me that they no longer feel that the White House is their enemy.
So far, the White House working with Congress has been able improve the regulatory environment. However important, it is only half the battle. Real tax reform is a must to push economic growth to the 3.5% to 4% level needed to sustain job growth and wage growth.
